About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide respectful adult home care in line with an agreed care plan. You will support people with personal care and daily living, maintain clear records, and follow safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety requirements.
Deliver personal care and daily living support in line with the care plan and risk assessment.
Support mobility safely and use equipment only as trained and agreed.
Provide medication support only where assessed, trained, and documented, completing MAR records as required.
Record visit notes accurately and report concerns promptly.
Maintain dignity, privacy, and professional boundaries.
Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, infection prevention, and health and safety procedures.
Communicate clearly with the office team, people we support, and families (where appropriate).

Requirements
Qualifications and Education (Preferred)
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred.
Applicants without the qualification who are willing to undertake training are welcome to apply.
Experience (Preferred)
Experience in home care or a care setting is desirable, but not essential if you demonstrate the right values and willingness to learn.
Skills and Attributes

Legal and Compliance Requirements
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check required.
